Let me start out by simply saying THANK YOU for your resiliency throughout this ongoing COVID-19 health crisis. What we do at City Church matters now more than ever as communities around the country deal with the effects of this pandemic.
As you may or may not be aware, the CDC has released reports of the continued rising in COVID-19 cases. While we cannot control or pin point the origin of contraction for each infection, what we can do is ensure that we are doing our due diligence to safeguard our church community.
Over the past three months, we have taken a number of measures to mitigate the impacts of the virus and to keep our visitors, members, and volunteers safe, all while effectively continuing to spread the Gospel. The City Church Leadership Team continues to monitor the impacts of the virus daily, and I want you to know we will continue to do our parts to "flatten the curve" and help keep everyone safe while doing God's will.
While in continuation with our initial safety measures, we have decided to take some additional steps to provide protection for all, including the following:
-We will further develop our seating strategy to ensure social distancing practices.
-We encourage everyone to wear safety masks. However, not required.
-We have hand sanitizing stations throughout the church facilities.
-We will continue to check everyone's temperature when you first come in.
-Please note if you are experiencing any symptoms such as: cough, fever, runny nose, etc or not feeling well, we kindly ask that you stay home and consider our virtual worship currently streaming via our City Church Facebook Page or City Church Youtube Channel.
We know that these are trying times, but this too shall pass. We will continue our safety strategies as long as it is necessary, but they do not outweigh our FAITH that our God is faithful to deliver as he has done time and time again. As we continue to speak Psalms 91 over our families, friends, churches, and community, we believe God, we believe His word, and we continuously pray for your safety, health, and well being.
We love you. Be encouraged!!
